1 El asalto a la información:
"7 de julio de 2005. Londres sufre el peor ataque terrorista que recuerda. Decenas de muertos y heridos. Los grandes medios hacen desde el primer momento un llamamiento a los ciudadanos para que cuenten sus historias, envíen sus fotos y vídeos desde sus teléfonos móviles a la BBC, The Guardian o el Times"
Los ciudadanos se han convertido en vigilantes de los medios. La desconfianza anida bajo las conversaciones del ciberespacio. El público no se fía de la autoridad y las intenciones de la prensa y sus primeras víctimas han sido políticos y periodistas. Los casos de Dan Rather y los falsos registros militares de George W. Bush, el ex jefe de noticias de la CNN Eason Jordan y sus críticas al comportamiento del ejército norteamericano en Irak o el escándalo de las acusaciones racistas del senador Tren Lott no son únicos
2 ¿Qué es el Periodismo 3.0?:
"Periodismo 1.0 es el que traspasa contenido tradicional de medios analógicos al ciberespacio.
Periodismo 2.0 es la creación de contenido en y para la Red, sumando sus características de hipertextualidad, interactividad, multimedia, etc."
"Periodismo 3.0 es la socialización de la información periodística a través de una conversación virtual en la que los participantes intervienen en el propio mensaje."
"Al hablar de Periodismo 3.0 no se debe pensar en todos los blogs y medios sociales Muchos de ellos no tienen intención periodística ni informativa alguna. La denominación Periodismo 3.0 se refiere sólo a aquellos medios sociales (blogs, wikis, foros, agregadotes, etc.) que abordan información y opinión de actualidad, aunque a veces sea muy especializada temática o geográficamente.
Al adoptar la nomenclatura de la informática se diferencia este periodismo del desarrollado antes en los medios analógicos, pero tiene otros elementos definitorios:
Los ciudadanos irrumpen en el espacio público para informar y comentar la información.
Rebajan el poder de intermediación de los medios al entrar en contacto directamente con las fuentes y con los hechos a través de testimonios directos.
Se rebelan contra la autoridad profesional y la sustituyen por el criterio social en red.
Rechazan la concepción tradicional de la objetividad: la capacidad de observación y comunicación no subjetiva de los acontecimientos.
Sustituyen el patrón unidireccional de la comunicación de masas por un nuevo patrón de muchos a muchos, interactivo y en progreso.
Convierten de esta manera la información en una conversación enriquecida con cada participación.
3 El nuevo periodismo socializa su voz
"El Periodismo 3.0 es el nuevo periodismo desde el margen. Fronterizo con el activismo político y social. Al borde de la información y la opinión.
Con la amenaza de sumirse en el solipsismo de élites tecnológicas y sociales y sin control sobre los contenidos.
Uno de los mayores desafíos de este nuevo periodismo es no acabar como sus antecesores y romper la brecha, expandirse al máximo para lograr no un mayor número de obras, sino mayor número de voces.
El Periodismo 3.0 recoge algunas de las características de las mayores revueltas del siglo pasado contra la concepción tradicional de la información y, sobre todo, de la posición del autor, la subjetividad y su empleo y el cuestionamiento de la objetividad.
