Abogado Luis Seguel Mora desea compartir e invitar a todos los medios de comunicación a la realización del acto de presentación y lanzamiento de su libro “Al Otro Lado De Las Metralletas” basado en testimonios inéditos efectuados ante notario, de miles de conscriptos hoy reservistas de la Defensa Nacional que realizaron el servicio militar obligatorio entre los años 1973 y 1990, quienes fueron testigos oculares y también víctimas de horrorosas violaciones a los derechos humanos.  El libro que será presentado constituye un complemento necesario y oportuno a una historia de Chile contada en forma incompleta hasta antes de esta publicación.  El acto está programado para el martes 11 de Septiembre a las 11:00 Hrs., con una duración aproximada de no más de 45 minutos comenzando con estricta puntualidad, en la Sala de Exposiciones Galería de Arte de la Plaza Aníbal Pinto de Temuco (Plaza de Armas)

Preámbulo

Sorprendente, terrible, novedoso, simplemente para sufrir y llorar, un complemento triste pero absolutamente necesario y oportuno de una historia de Chile narrada hasta antes de este libro de una forma incompleta.

Esta obra no es una novela, tampoco es un libro de cuentos, es el resultado de miles de experiencias y de cientos de entrevistas que reúnen el testimonio inédito de aquellos jóvenes que acudieron al llamado de la patria para cumplir con el servicio militar obligatorio entre los años 1973 y 1990.

Hasta aquí la historia de lo ocurrido en materia de las violaciones de los derechos humanos había relatada en la mayoría de los casos desde puntos de vistas externos, sin considerar la opinión ni información de los propios actores, de aquellos que siendo civiles, todavía apenas unos adolescentes, tuvieron que vivir un largo período de sus vidas aún en contra de su voluntad, “al otro lado de las metralletas” obedeciendo todo tipo de órdenes y siendo testigos oculares y también víctimas de horrorosos atropellos a los derechos humanos.

Sin duda el lector verá superada su capacidad de asombro con la lectura de este libro, porque nada con el realismo, crudeza y autenticidad con que ha sido escrita, seguramente había caídos en sus manos antes de la publicación de esta obra que se presenta bajo el título “Al otro lado de las metralletas”.
